Statistics Update: Amur Leopard

The Amur Leopard is a majestic wild cat, native Russia's Far East, quite unlike its relatives on the hot savannas of Africa. It has adapted phenomenally to Russia's temperate forests. In 2008, there were about 32. In 2016, the species recuperated and the population rose to 60. That means that in just 8 years the population gained 28!

That is AMAZING!
I know, right?

Here are some things that #kiwikid and #llamalover have found out about Amur Leopards:

  1. Sad reality... I heard on the news this morning there are only 2 Northern White Rhinos left living in the world today and they are both females. 😢😢
